We are looking for a support worker to join an enthusiastic, energetic, dedicated and established team to support a thirteen-year-old boy with complex additional needs living in the Worcester area. He lives with his family and support team in a bespoke adapted home to promote his independent living and access to purposeful and rewarding activities.
The role will involve providing care, prescribed therapies and activities to our client. This will include day-to-day care, play and development, supporting in school and at home, as well as during holidays and a wide variety of activities. Within the role, it will be necessary to work alongside treating therapists and follow any prescribed therapy programmes. This will take place within the family home, school, in play areas and during activities. There will be some household duties to be completed related to the client.
It is necessary to have experience in care, ideally with children with special educational needs. A driving licence is essential.
Working Hours: 36 hours per week. Days and nights.
Rates of Pay: All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce with Barring. Full training will be provided.
