Live in carer required to support a young man to live as independent a life as possible. The successful candidate will work 1 week on and 1 week off. Accommodation is provided in a house separate to the client during the 1 week on.
The client has other members of staff supporting him, but unsociable hours are expected, as our client often needs collecting from evening and nights out. The client requires support with all activities of daily living as well as attending university and on social trips in the locality and abroad.
The successful candidate will be good at listening and communicating and will have a drive to help the client live as fulfilled a life as possible. Someone who can drive is essential as there will be a requirement to drive the client's WAV.
Requirements- A full driving licence is essential
- Previous experience in care and willingness to be adaptable
This is a Live-In position. One week on, one week off. Unsociable hours are to be expected.
Rates of Pay£1150 per week
