Join My Fabulous Care Team
Are you kind, fun-loving, and ready to make a difference? I’m on the lookout for female carers to join my amazing team in Kent, supporting me with my complex needs. I am a vibrant young woman who absolutely loves music, dance, all things Disney, and a sprinkle of glitter. I live in Hildenborough with my lovely family and two dogs. I have a fully adapted home with my own purpose-built annex, which includes my bedroom, therapy and living space, and a hydrotherapy pool. I am supported by a small team of dedicated carers and am excited to welcome some new faces.
Role Overview
Your role will be varied and meaningful – from getting ready for my day, to chilling at home, joining me at my day centre, or settling me for the evening. Weekends are all about activities – maybe a trip out, helping with therapies, or splashing about in my own hydrotherapy pool. Nights are just as important – I need you to support my evening routine, help me stay safe and comfortable overnight. Sometimes, you’ll even get the chance to travel with me and my family on holiday.
My Needs and Training
I have complex health needs including PEG feeding, epilepsy, oxygen therapy and medication administration. I am non verbal and require patient and attentive carers. I need 1:1 care at all times and 2:1 care when out in the community. My care team supports me 24 hours a day, including waking nights. Full specialist training is provided for everything you’ll need to know about me including PEG feeding and medication. If you’ve supported someone with complex needs before, that’s great – but what matters most to me is your attitude, reliability, and positive energy you bring to the role.
Who we’re looking for
- Female carers who are caring, patient, and up for being part of a friendly, supportive team in a home setting.
- Someone who is not afraid to get stuck in – whether that’s joining in with dance moves, helping with therapy, or enjoying some fun with me.
- Full training provided.
- Small dedicated team working solely with me.
- Paid holiday and regular shifts.
- Opportunity to travel with me.
- Fun, rewarding work experiencing new things with me each day.
Pay Rates dependent on experience:
- Weekday – £16.78 to £18.83 per hour;
- Weekend – £19.15 to £20.98 per hour;
- Bank Holiday – £33.57 to £37.67 per hour.
