We are looking for an experienced Female bank Support Worker for our client, a 52‑year‑old lady who has an acquired brain injury living in the Stourbridge area. You will be supporting her with her care and support needs in her home and taking her out in the community.
It is essential that you share some of our client’s interests in nature, yoga, crystals, meditation, mindfulness, ballet and arts and crafts. Our client seeks someone who is passionate, enthusiastic, well‑organised with a positive attitude, flexible and patient. This role includes supporting with her therapy programmes and taking her to the gym.
We will consider your application if you are new to care, have a caring nature but lack experience and are looking to change to a career in care. We will provide full training along with a supportive and welcoming team.
Working hours: This is a bank position. A full induction is provided. This post is 2‑1 care and 1‑1 care at night. We are looking for bank staff to cover day shifts and or night shifts to cover sickness and annual leave. The shift pattern is 7am‑7pm and 7pm‑7am with some eight or nine hour shifts as required to meet the client’s needs. IE 7am‑1pm, 1pm‑7pm, 9.30‑5pm.
Rates of Pay: Weekdays: £15.00 per hour (Rising to £16.00 per hour after completion of successful probation period) Weekends: £16.00 per hour (Rising to £18.00 per hour after completion of successful probation period)
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided.
