*Female Special Needs Childcare Worker required for a delightful and bright fifteen year-old girl who sustained brain damage at birth and is suffering from mild developmental delay.

We are seeking a bubbly, enthusiastic, and dynamic individual to work with our client and her mother in a supportive role within the family home.
She is physically very active and full of fun.
The role includes supporting our client’s mother to take her to school, take part in activities with her, participate with therapy and social excursions.
The role also includes some light domestic duties.
You will work closely with her neuropsychologist and occupational therapist to assist and support with her therapy programmes.
Full client specific training will be provided to enable you to support our client.
High standards of documentation will be expected, and IT skills are essential.
- Hours
- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 15.00-19.00 (Term Time)
- Thursday 08.35-09.35 15.00-19.00 (Term Time)
- Fridays 15.00-19.00 (Term Time)
- Alternating Saturdays 13:00-19:00
- 1 Sleep in a month
- School Holidays will be three days per week flexibly 11:00am-18:00pm.
Additional hours or weekends may be required in negotiation with the client’s family.
We are seeking experienced PA/Support workers who have a background in working with young people /with brain injuries.
May suit therapy students studying disciplines related to either of these fields.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
A full, clean UK Driving Licence is essential.
A car is provided for excursions.
Our client seeks someone who is active, fun, well organised and very flexible.
- Rates of pay
- £17.00 per hour Monday to Friday
- £19.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday.
All posts are subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided.
