Overview
We are seeking caring, compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide outstanding support to vulnerable individuals in their own homes throughout Sidcup, Bexley and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care or nursing home settings however don\βt worry if you do not have experience as we can offer full training. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care upholding the values of the company.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care; bathing, dressing, toileting etc.
- Administering medication safely.
- Preparing meals tailored to the needs and choices of the client.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health status to relevant healthcare professionals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in home care or nursing home environments is desirable.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety practices is desirable.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet specific dietary requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal, non verbal and written.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work is preferred, or the willingness to use public transport.
