Description
Latham Medical Group is seeking an enthusiastic LPN to join their team in a large family practice located in our new Wellness Way building. This position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends and is open to part-time hours with flexible scheduling.
This position is eligible for a up to $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus.
Responsibilities
- Administer and record vaccines.
- Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
- Accurately document information into patient records in a timely manner.
- Maintain efficient patient flow.
- Prepare patients for visits according to office/provider requirements.
- Obtain specimens (urine, blood, etc.) as directed by the provider.
- Enter orders accurately and promptly into the lab system.
- Perform clinical procedures such as PFT, EKG, nebulizer treatments, medication administration, and immunizations as directed.
- Process patient prescriptions.
- Discuss test results with patients following provider instructions.

Salary range: $21.75 – $31.00 per hour. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and skills, with potential eligibility for overtime pay. Requirements
- Valid NYS LPN license.
- Previous experience in a medical practice or as a Medical Assistant/Patient Care Tech.
- Strong computer skills with EMR experience.
- Knowledge of nursing principles, infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
- Experience with medical chart reporting and records.
- Assessment and assistance skills appropriate for clinical settings.
