About the role
Central Beds is seeking experienced Social Workers (Level 1 & 2) to join its Family Help Locality Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a service committed to getting it right for children and families the first time. We are looking for Social Workers who can confidently apply a range of social work theories and models to deliver imaginative, ambitious interventions. You will work across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Court pathways, building meaningful relationships with families to achieve sustainable change.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience managing a varied caseload of children and families
- Experience completing direct work with children, capturing their views and lived experiences
- Experience chairing multi‑agency meetings and working with partner agencies
- A proven track record of achieving positive outcomes for children and families
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, producing high‑quality assessments and reports
- Strong passion for delivering high‑quality services and interventions; Court experience – essential
