We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Social Worker / Senior Practitioner to join our Corporate Parenting Team within Children’s Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse borough, supporting children and families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of complex cases involving children in care and care leavers
- Develop, implement, and review care plans and pathway plans tailored to individual needs
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver effective services
- Promote positive outcomes and ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of children and young people
- Provide professional leadership and contribute to best practice within the team
About You
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration
- Significant experience in children’s social care, ideally within Corporate Parenting or similar settings
- Strong assessment, planning, and case management skills
- Confidence in multi-agency working and partnership collaboration
- A child- and family-focused approach with a passion for improving outcomes
