What you will do:
- Provide leadership and professional guidance to social workers within the team.
- Promote and embed high-quality social work practice standards throughout the team.
- Undertake the role of Duty Senior where required, acting as a point of escalation for complex cases.
- Act as a Safeguarding Adults Manager, ensuring the safety and protection of vulnerable clients.
- Provide supervision and oversight of complex cases, supporting team members with challenging scenarios.
- Support risk management and complex decision-making in line with relevant legislation.
- Ensure practice aligns with statutory frameworks and best practice quality standards, maintaining the highest levels of care.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Enhanced DBS suitable for working with vulnerable adults.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act (MCA), and Court of Protection.
- Significant post-qualifying experience, ideally at Senior Practitioner level.
