To be an effective member of the SEND Team (with a designated caseload) supporting the effective management of an efficient statutory assessment service for children and young people. To liaise with professionals and other support services to provide appropriate and sufficient information and advice to ensure the statutory assessment process and timelines are met when new Needs Assessments are submitted. To use advice submitted by all professionals to create an EHCP for individual children and young people, undertake co‑production meetings with families and education settings to support finalising plans.
