We are currently supporting a Local Authority in the East of England with the recruitment of 2 experienced SEN Casework Officers to join their SEND service on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced SEN professionals who are confident managing a busy caseload within a fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience within SEN Casework
- Exposure to SEND Tribunals, including:
- Gathering evidence
- Preparing documentation
- Supporting tribunal processes
- Strong case management and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities effectively
- Experience working within a high-volume local authority SEND environment
- Managing SEN casework
- Collating and reviewing information
- Supporting tribunal preparation processes

Note: This is not a Tribunal & Resolution Officer position. The role does not require candidates to lead or defend tribunal hearings. Candidates whose experience is solely at Tribunal Officer level may be considered overqualified for this requirement.
