Leaders in Care are seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to take the lead in registering and managing a 2-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) home in York. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping a new home from the ground up — creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership to ensure the home meets Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards, embedding a culture of safety, stability, and aspiration for every young person in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Ofsted registration process for a new 2-bed EBD home in York.
- Ensure the home operates in line with Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and all safeguarding procedures.
- Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of residential staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Develop and oversee care and protection plans to meet each young person’s individual needs.
- Promote the highest standards of care, ensuring young people are supported to achieve positive outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement and compliance in line with the home’s Statement of Purpose.

Requirements:
