Qualified Social Worker for our Mental Health Team in Richmond and Wandsworth paying £32 ph!

Location: Richmond and Wandsworth

Team: Mental Health Team

Rate: £32 per hour

Working Pattern: 36 hours per week

About The Role

Richmond and Wandsworth are looking for an experienced Adult Mental Health Social Worker to join their supportive and collaborative Adult Social Care service. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified social worker with mental health experience to make a real difference in the lives of adults by delivering strengths-based, person-centred interventions that promote independence, wellbeing, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of adults with mental health needs.
  • Complete strengths-based assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with the Care Act 2014.
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, carers, health professionals, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Promote independence while ensuring appropriate safeguarding measures are in place.
  • Carry out risk assessments and develop person-centred support plans.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

About You

  • Current Social Work England registration and a recognised Social Work qualification.
  • Good knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and its associated statutory guidance.
  • Experience supporting adults with mental health needs within a statutory social work setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
