About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Qualified Children’s Social Worker to join the Fostering Service in Wolverhampton. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an ambitious and forward-thinking local authority that is passionate about delivering excellent, relationship-based social work practice. Key Responsibilities
- Undertake fostering assessments, including Form K (kinship) assessments
- Complete Private Fostering assessments in line with statutory requirements
- Provide ongoing support and supervision to foster carers
- Ensure compliance with Fostering Regulations and National Minimum Standards
- Build strong, effective relationships with children, families, and carers
- Contribute to care planning to meet the needs of children in placement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
