About the Role:
As a Social Worker within the Court Team, you will manage complex cases where legal intervention is required, ensuring that children receive the support and protection they need. You will work closely with families, legal professionals, and partner agencies while progressing cases through Public Law proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children subject to pre-proceedings and care proceedings.
- Complete comprehensive assessments, care planning, and permanency planning.
- Prepare high-quality court statements, reports, and evidence for legal proceedings.
- Attend court hearings and provide professional recommendations to support decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with legal services, guardians, health professionals, and other partner agencies.
- Ensure all casework is completed in accordance with statutory guidance, legislation, and local procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely case recordings.
