Qualified Social Worker needed for our Community Learning Disability Team in East Sussex, paying £38 ph!

Location: East Sussex

Rate: £38ph

Contract: Locum / Full-time

About the Role: We are currently recruiting an experienced Adult Social Worker to join a Community Learning Disability Team on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner with 2+ years post-qualifying experience to work in a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment that values person-centred practice and independence. The role focuses on promoting wellbeing, independence, and ensuring appropriate care planning for adults with learning disabilities living in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of adults with learning disabilities
  • Complete Care Act assessments and reviews
  • Develop and implement person-centred support plans
  • Conduct Mental Capacity Act assessments and Best Interest decisions
  • Work in partnership with families, providers, health professionals, and advocates
  • Safeguarding adults at risk and contributing to investigations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
