About The Role
The Child Health and Disability (CHAD) Team in Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole is seeking an experienced Level 3 Social Worker to join their dedicated team. This role involves undertaking statutory assessments and working with:
- Children in Need
- Children on Child Protection Plans
- Children in Care
The team works closely with colleagues across health services and SEND, and also undertakes its own court work, including proceedings in the Family Court and Court of Protection.
Key Responsibilities
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Experience working with children with disabilities and their families
- A strong understanding of neurodivergence
- Knowledge and/or experience relating to Deprivation of Liberty
- Experience across safeguarding and statutory social work functions
