Qualified Social Worker needed for our Assessment Team in Romford, Havering paying £37.52 ph! Hybrid Working!
About the Role: The Assessment Team within Havering is seeking an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join their service on a full-time basis. This role focuses on undertaking high-quality assessments and safeguarding work for children and families, ensuring timely and effective intervention in line with statutory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse and variable caseload of children and families in need of safeguarding support
- Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews in accordance with statutory guidelines
- Work closely with partner agencies to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development
Requirements:
- Have proven experience working within children’s assessments
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and application of child protection legislation and statutory frameworks
- Have experience completing direct work with children and families
- Be confident using Liquidlogic
- Hold current Social Work England registration
