Team Manager needed for our Family First Front Door Team in Plymouth, paying £47.50 ph!
Contract: Limited/Umbrella Rate: £47.50 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 24/7 Front Door Service
About the role: As a Family First Front Door Team Manager, you will provide strong leadership, management, and professional oversight to a team of social workers and practitioners operating within a fast-paced safeguarding environment. You will promote excellent social work practice, ensuring timely assessments, purposeful interventions, and effective safeguarding responses for children and young people. Through both individual and group supervision, you will challenge, support, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding outcomes while maintaining the highest professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a high-performing Front Door/MASH team within a 24/7 service.
- Ensuring effective screening, assessment, and decision-making for safeguarding referrals.
- Providing reflective supervision, coaching, and professional development support to staff.
- Driving service improvement and maintaining high standards of practice.
- Making informed decisions in complex and high-risk safeguarding situations.
- Building effective partnerships with multi-agency professionals and stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities, legislation, and local safeguarding procedures.
