We are currently recruiting for an experienced Agency Social Worker (Level 2) to join our Physical Disability and Older People’s Team in Norwich for a 3‑month period. This is a great opportunity to work within a supportive and forward‑thinking service that is committed to high quality, strengths‑based practice with adults in the community.

Our team works within the principles of Community Led Support (CLS), which underpins the way we engage with people. CLS focuses on meaningful conversations, early intervention, and creative, community‑based solutions that help individuals remain independent, resilient, and well. You will be joining a team that values relational practice and works collaboratively with partners across health and social care to achieve the best outcomes.

The role involves managing a varied community caseload, including complex situations, safeguarding enquiries, Mental Capacity Act assessments, and Care Act responsibilities. You will contribute to timely, proportionate assessments and outcome‑focused planning, ensuring that people receive the right support at the right time.

We are seeking practitioners who are registered with Social Work England, confident in working with adults with physical disabilities and older people, and experienced in managing community cases. Strong organisational skills, sound professional judgement, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment are essential. Familiarity with Norfolk County Council systems and processes would be highly beneficial.
