Compass Community School Mountfields Park is a specialist independent school supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Many pupils also have additional SEND needs, including Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.

We are seeking a passionate, flexible, and resilient teacher who believes in putting children first. At Mountfields Park, we are teachers of children before subjects, building positive relationships and creating safe, engaging learning environments where every pupil can succeed.

The successful candidate will teach their specialist subject alongside a second subject area and support pupils using a trauma‑informed approach. Our curriculum includes GCSEs, Functional Skills, BTECs, and The King’s Trust Achieve Programme, helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
