Qualified Social Worker needed for our MASH Team in Romford, Havering paying £37.52ph! Hybrid Working!
About the Role: We are looking for an experienced MASH Social Worker to join a busy Children and Families service. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner with previous MASH experience who can confidently make timely decisions, assess risk, and ensure children receive the right support at the right time. Working within a fast-paced Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub, you will work collaboratively with partner agencies to assess referrals, identify safeguarding concerns, and make informed decisions based on statutory thresholds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen and assess incoming referrals relating to children and families.
- Make informed decisions using statutory safeguarding thresholds.
- Work effectively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children.
- Complete timely, high-quality assessments and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
- Ensure children and families receive appropriate interventions and support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a MASH Team.
- A minimum of 3 years' post-qualified Social Work experience.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding thresholds and statutory guidance.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.
