Qualified Social Worker needed for the Kinship & Special Guardianship Assessments in Cardiff, paying up to £36.68 per hour.

  • Undertake Special Guardianship (SGO) assessments, including conversion assessments for existing carers.
  • Assess both prospective kinship carers and currently approved foster carers.
  • Provide clear, professional guidance to carers on the differences and benefits of becoming a Kinship Foster Carer or a Special Guardian.
  • Ensure all assessments are thorough, analytical, and completed within required timescales.
  • Produce high-quality reports to inform decision-making and court processes where required.
