Qualified Social Worker needed for our Assessment Team in Romford, Havering paying £37.52 ph. Hybrid Working.

About the Role:

The Assessment Team within Havering is seeking an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join their service on a full-time basis. This role focuses on undertaking high-quality assessments and safeguarding work for children and families, ensuring timely and effective intervention in line with statutory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse and variable caseload of children and families in need of safeguarding support
  • Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews in accordance with statutory guidelines
  • Work closely with partner agencies to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development

Requirements:

  • Have proven experience working within children’s assessments
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and application of child protection legislation and statutory frameworks
  • Have experience completing direct work with children and families
  • Be confident using Liquidlogic
  • Hold current Social Work England registration
