About The Role:
We are seeking an organised and customer-focused MASH Referral Officer to join a busy and dynamic Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). In this vital role, you will provide administrative support to the MASH Referral Desk, helping to ensure children, young people, and their families receive timely and effective support. As the first point of contact for referrals and enquiries, you will deliver a professional, compassionate, and efficient service, ensuring all calls and requests are handled with discretion, accuracy, and excellent customer care. Working in a fast-paced safeguarding environment, you will use your initiative to assess enquiries, provide appropriate information where possible, or escalate matters to the relevant professionals for review and action.
About You:
- Previous experience working within an administrative or business support role, ideally within Children's Services, Social Care, MASH, or a safeguarding environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload.
- The ability to remain calm, professional, and accurate when working under pressure.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong IT and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
