Are you an experienced and values-driven Social Work leader ready to make a real difference for children, young people and families? We are seeking a Children & Families Social Work Team Manager to lead, support and develop a skilled social work team delivering high-quality statutory services. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for professional practice, safeguarding, staff development and service improvement.

About the role
As Team Manager, you will:
- Provide strong, reflective leadership to a Children & Families social work team
- Ensure high standards of child protection, risk management and care planning
- Oversee complex and high-risk cases, chairing key meetings where required
- Embed a culture of learning, supervision and continuous improvement
- Support and develop Newly Qualified Social Workers and experienced practitioners
- Manage team resources and budgets effectively, ensuring best value
- Work closely with partner agencies to deliver integrated, child‐centred services
- Contribute to service development and strategic priorities across the HSCP
- Participate in the out-of-hours senior standby rota
