We are currently working with a highly rated council based in the South West who are looking to bring a team of 5 experienced social workers into their well established Safeguarding service.
Due to current workload pressures, the service is looking to bring in an experienced team who can come in and help stabilise the service and support the existing structure, ensuring cases continue to receive the time and attention they need, and ultimately bring caseloads down for their current workforce.
The working setup is super flexible, with hybrid working in place and full autonomy to manage your diary how you see fit. There is a real focus on trusting experienced practitioners to manage their own time effectively, with no micromanagement and the freedom to organise your week in a way that works best for you.

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England, as well as 3+ years permanent experience in an English council.
