The team is made up of yourself (the Assistant Team Manager), Team Manager, Advanced Practitioner, four Social Workers and an ASYE, ensuring a close knit, stable environment.

As Assistant Team Manager, you'll help the TM lead and support a team of Social Workers to deliver high-quality services. You'll ensure statutory duties and best practices are met, provide case oversight with a clear understanding of risk, and align team plans with strategic objectives. The role involves managing workflow, overseeing quality through supervision, observation, and audits, and contributing to the development of the quality assurance framework.

Strong relationships with internal teams and partner agencies will be key to ensuring effective support and protection for vulnerable children and young people across the county.
