Location: East Sussex, Lewes

Role: Experienced Social Worker – Adults

Rate: £38 per hour

Contract: Temporary / Locum

About: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Adults Social Worker to join a busy and supportive team based in Lewes. This is an initial 6‑month contract covering maternity leave, with the possibility of extension. The team is looking for a confident and capable practitioner with strong statutory experience who can hit the ground running and manage a varied caseload effectively.

Key Requirements

  • Strong experience within Adults Services
  • Sound understanding of:
    • Care Act Assessments
    • Mental Capacity Assessments
    • Safeguarding
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 25 cases
  • Must be a car driver due to the rural nature of the area and community visits
