Location: Exeter & East Devon – County Hall, Exeter
Rate: £38 per hour
Working Pattern: Full Time – 37 Hours per Week - Hybrid Working | Minimum 3 days per week in office | Must hold a valid UK driving license and have access to a vehicle
About The role
Devon is seeking experienced Social Workers to join the MASH Team based in Exeter. The MASH Team is the central point for all safeguarding and child protection enquiries across Devon. The service works collaboratively with partner agencies including Police, Health, Education, and Probation to ensure the early identification of risk and timely intervention to safeguard children and young people. The team gathers and reviews information from multiple agencies to determine the most appropriate support for children and families. Where necessary, immediate safeguarding responses are triggered to prevent further harm and ensure children’s welfare is protected. This multi-agency approach has strengthened communication between professionals and improved the speed and effectiveness of interventions for vulnerable children and families across Devon.
To be considered, you will need to have post qualified experience in a similar team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience (PQE) within Children’s Services
- Current Social Work England registration
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a car
- Ability to work hybrid model with minimum office attendance requirements
