This is an exciting opportunity for a registered, experienced social care professional to shape how Dudley ensures its adult social care services are safe, high performing and inspection ready.
As Strategic Adult Social Care Lead for Assurance and Continuous Development, you will lead a multidisciplinary team that underpins practice quality, professional standards and regulatory compliance across adult social care. You will strengthen workforce capability, embed robust assurance frameworks, and ensure the council maintains continuous, evidence-based monitoring and reporting. Working closely with colleagues across the service, you will foster coordinated, strengths based, person centred practice and support teams to adopt new ways of working that meet people's needs holistically.
This role offers a genuine strategic seat on the Management Team, reporting to the Associate Director for Strategic Commissioning, Partnerships, Innovation and Improvement, with real influence over how Dudley drives quality and assurance across adult social care.
