Qualified Social Worker needed for our MASH team in Doncaster, paying up to £35 per hour.
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Doncaster. This role is key to delivering a high-quality, timely safeguarding response for children, young people and families at the point of referral.
About the role:
To provide a local, professional social care service for children, young people and families in need, ensuring effective decision-making, early identification of risk, and proportionate intervention to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen, triage and assess referrals within a MASH setting
- Contribute to both voluntary and statutory social work interventions
- Undertake professional social work tasks in line with legislation, policy, and evidence-based practice
- Manage a caseload of children who are:
- Children in Need
- At risk of significant harm
- Looked After Children
- Make informed safeguarding decisions and recommendations
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies including police, health and education
- Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality case records
