We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Referral and Assessment Team. Do not apply for this role if you do not have a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience in permanent contract/s.
About the team
This team acts as the first point of contact for all safeguarding concerns and requests for support regarding children in the local community. The team manages the incoming referrals from schools, health professionals and the public when concerns regarding children's safety arise. The role of this team is to ensure that the referrals receive the appropriate level of need required in a timely manner; they play a vital role in the progression of each allegation and case.
About you
- A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipDW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years' experience is essential to be considered for this role.
- Ability to be flexible, resilient and reflective is also essential.
- A valid UK driving license is essential for this role.
