About the role: Are you an experienced Senior Practitioner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently lead decision-making in a busy front door service? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Practitioner to join our Adult Social Care team. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident leader who can manage complexity, make sound risk-based decisions, and provide strong professional oversight within a multidisciplinary setting. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring timely, proportionate interventions for adults requiring support, while providing leadership, supervision, and guidance to a team of Social Workers, Senior Community Practitioners (SCPs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead front door triage, screening, and decision-making, ensuring referrals are responded to effectively and proportionately.
- Manage complex cases, safeguarding concerns, Mental Capacity Act assessments, and Best Interests decision-making.
- Provide supervision, support, and professional oversight to Social Workers, SCPs, OTs, and OTAs.
- Assess and manage risk confidently, making defensible decisions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Drive high standards of practice, performance, and accountability across the team.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for adults and their families.
