- Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Children in Care
- Undertake statutory visits and reviews
- Develop and review care plans to achieve positive outcomes
- Work closely with foster carers, residential providers, and partner agencies
- Support permanence planning, including long-term fostering, special guardianship, and adoption where appropriate
- Prepare high-quality reports for reviews and court proceedings when required
- Ensure the voices of children and young people remain central to all planning and decision-making
About You
- Qualified Social Worker
- Registered with Social Work England
- Recent experience within a Children in Care, Looked After Children, or Permanence Team
- Strong assessment, care planning, and relationship-based practice skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies
