We are currently seeking an experienced Advance Practitioner Adult Social Worker to join a Community Mental Health Team. This role requires a recognised Social Work qualification and a minimum of two years' post-qualified experience.
About the Team
The team works with vulnerable adults who have mental health difficulties, providing support to help them manage their daily lives. They are responsible for developing and reviewing care plans, as well as carrying out Mental Capacity Act assessments, Care Act 2014 assessments, and Section 42 safeguarding enquiries. They offer flexible working arrangements, with staff able to work up to three days per week from home and two days per week in the office.
About You
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated, and knowledgeable in adult social work settings, including community, hospital, older persons, and physical disability services. You will hold a Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, or CQSW) and have at least two years of post-qualified experience. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous but are not essential for this position.
