Qualified Social Worker needed for our MASH Team in Liverpool, paying up to £38 ph - Hybrid Working!

Location: Liverpool (Hybrid Working)

Rate: Up to £38 per hour

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days remote, 3 days office-based

About The Role: We are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join Liverpool's Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). The MASH is a dynamic, multi-agency environment where professionals from a range of partner organisations work collaboratively to safeguard children and young people. By sharing information and expertise, the team delivers a coordinated and timely response to referrals, ensuring children and families receive the right support at the right time. Co-location of partner agencies enables early identification of safeguarding concerns, informed decision-making, and improved outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage contacts received through the Front Door.
  • Apply Liverpool's threshold criteria (LON thresholds) to determine the appropriate level of intervention.
  • Analyse safeguarding information from multiple agencies to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure children, young people, and families receive the right support at the right time.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver effective safeguarding responses.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with statutory requirements.
  • Contribute to high-quality safeguarding practice and promote positive outcomes for children and families.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
  • Experience working within a MASH, Front Door, Assessment, or Duty Team.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, statutory guidance, and threshold decision-making.
  • Excellent assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.
