We are seeking someone with a genuine passion for helping others, particularly individuals living with dementia or age-related needs. The role involves supporting clients with their morning and evening routines, offering both practical assistance and emotional reassurance to enhance their wellbeing.
Main Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, your duties will include:

Supporting clients with personal care such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

Helping with mobility and safe transfers, using appropriate equipment
*
Preparing and serving meals and drinks, ensuring dietary needs are met
*
Administering or prompting medication in line with care plans and training
*
Providing companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and promote mental wellbeing
*
Assisting with light household duties, such as cleaning, tidying, and laundry
*
Supporting clients with shopping, appointments, or short walks in the community
*
Maintaining accurate care notes and records after each visit
*
Communicating effectively with team members, family, and management to ensure continuity of care
