Community Animal Hospital has been providing quality veterinary medicine to pets in the Shrewsbury and surrounding communities since 2000. We offer a wide array of services for dogs, cats, and pocket pets. Our Veterinary Receptionists are important part of our team. This position will provide the first and last impressions of our practice. We are looking to add a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to our hospital!
Responsibilities of our receptionists include but are not limited to greeting clients / patients, checking in and out patients, scheduling appointments, managing our multi line phone system, payment processing, as well as other projects needed to maintain a high level of customer service for our clients.
Our ideal candidate would :
Have experience in veterinary reception
Have basic computer skills
Have the ability to learn our electronic medical record system
Have experience in offering excellent customer service
Be a team player
Be able to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinical setting
Be motivated to learn
Have excellent communication skills to offer on the phone or in person
Be able to convey the passion we have for clients / patients
Have at least 1 year of experience

The schedule for this position will include some nights and Saturday hours.
