YMCA Derbyshire Key College is seeking a dynamic Training and Education Centre Manager (Maternity Cover) to lead our vibrant post 16 provision, a vital role at the forefront of empowering young people through inclusive, high-quality learning. You will play a key part in shaping the learner experience, building strong relationships with staff, students, and external partners, and driving high standards in teaching, outcomes, and pastoral support. In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of our centre, supporting some of the most vulnerable young people in our community, those at greatest risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training). Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a safe, supportive, and aspirational environment where learners can re-engage with education, overcome barriers, and realise their potential. Through strong relationship-building, a commitment to inclusion, and a relentless focus on driving up standards, you will help shape a provision where every learner is seen, heard, and given the tools to succeed.
