A unique opportunity has arisen to join a passionate team of staff in a growing Multi Academy Trust. We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic Pastoral Support Coordinator to join our happy, hardworking team at Grange Park. Community Academies Trust is a successful, forward-thinking organisation which maintains high expectations of staff and students.
The Pastoral Support Coordinator will help provide high-quality pastoral care and emotional support to pupils, ensuring their wellbeing and personal development are nurtured in a safe and inclusive school environment.
- To provide high-quality pastoral support for pupils, with a strong focus on mental health and behaviour.
- The role will involve supporting children with low-level anxiety, school avoidance, and challenging behaviour.
- Working with families to strengthen home-school links.
- Empowering staff to respond effectively to children's needs.
The post-holder will work closely with the SENCo and Behaviour Lead to ensure a joined-up approach across school. The duties of the post are varied and will evolve as the Pastoral Support Coordinator develops within the role, reflecting the growth of their experience, knowledge, and understanding of the school community.
The role is covered by part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
