Our client supports major nuclear infrastructure programmes across the UK. We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead the delivery of complex engineering design packages within a highly regulated nuclear environment. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring design solutions are delivered safely, compliantly and to programme.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading engineering design delivery across a portfolio of nuclear projects.
  • Managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, including internal and supply chain partners.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Driving engineering best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Providing technical leadership while working closely with project and programme management teams.

What we’re looking for:

  • Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) with a relevant engineering degree.
  • Significant experience delivering engineering design within the nuclear sector.
  • Proven leadership of large engineering teams and complex design programmes.

  • Experience working within highly regulated industries where engineering judgement is critical.
