Project Engineering Manager - Nuclear - North West - UK, £500 - £600 per day outside IR35 (Hybrid/Remote) Our client supports major nuclear infrastructure programmes across the UK.
We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead the delivery of complex engineering design packages within a highly regulated nuclear environment.
This is a senior leadership role, responsible for managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring design solutions are delivered safely, compliantly and to programme .
What you’ll be doing Leading engineering design delivery across a portfolio of nuclear projects.
Managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, including internal and supply chain partners.
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Driving engineering best practice and continuous improvement.
Providing technical leadership while working closely with project and programme management teams.
What we’re looking for Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) with a relevant engineering degree.
Significant experience delivering engineering design within the nuclear sector.
Proven leadership of large engineering teams and complex design programmes.
Strong understanding of nuclear safety, engineering governance and UK regulatory requirements.
Experience working within highly regulated industries where engineering judgement is critical.
Commercial awareness and experience working alongside delivery partners and suppliers.
