Project Engineering Manager - Nuclear - North West - UK, £500 - £600 per day outside IR35 (Hybrid/Remote)
Our client supports major nuclear infrastructure programmes across the UK.
We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead the delivery of complex engineering design packages within a highly regulated nuclear environment.
This is a senior leadership role, responsible for managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring design solutions are delivered safely, compliantly and to programme .
- What you’ll be doing
- Leading engineering design delivery across a portfolio of nuclear projects.
- Managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, including internal and supply chain partners.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Driving engineering best practice and continuous improvement.
- Providing technical leadership while working closely with project and programme management teams.
- What we’re looking for
- Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) with a relevant engineering degree.
- Significant experience delivering engineering design within the nuclear sector.
- Proven leadership of large engineering teams and complex design programmes.
- Strong understanding of nuclear safety, engineering governance and UK regulatory requirements.
- Experience working within highly regulated industries where engineering judgement is critical.
- Commercial awareness and experience working alongside delivery partners and suppliers.
