We're looking for a detail‑driven Enquiries Administrator to join NRC's Operations team and support the smooth handling of incoming enquiries and expert allocations. Working closely with the Operations Manager and clinical teams, you'll play a key role in logging and tracking enquiries, maintaining accurate records, preparing enquiry correspondence, and following up outstanding information. This is a vital operational role focused on accuracy, organisation, and timeliness, helping ensure enquiries are progressed efficiently and stakeholders receive a professional, responsive service. Role summary
This role supports the Operations Manager in processing, tracking, and documenting incoming enquiries and expert allocations. It contributes to fast, accurate handling of enquiry-related workflows and improves the experience for both internal teams and external stakeholders. The Enquiries Administrator works under the direction of the Operations Manager to help maintain accurate records, update trackers, and support communications related to expert allocations. The role plays a critical part in ensuring enquiry processes run smoothly and efficiently. We are looking to fill a 6 month FTC.
Key Responsibilities
- Enquiry Administration: Log new enquiries, update internal trackers, and maintain accurate records of expert assignments and status changes.
- Document Preparation & Follow-Up: Assist in preparing templates or correspondence for enquiry responses. Follow up on outstanding information or documentation as needed.
- Internal Coordination: Liaise with the Operations Manager, Clinical Liaison Specialist, and Senior Case Workers to ensure up-to-date visibility of enquiry progress and expert responses.
- Timeliness & Accuracy: Support efficient and prompt administrative handling of enquiries, ensuring details are recorded correctly and consistently.
- Workflow Support: Flag outstanding or overdue tasks to the Operations Manager and help resolve minor blockers to keep the pipeline moving.
Behavioural Expectations
The Enquiries Administrator is expected to be detail-oriented, organised, and cooperative in supporting a high-volume, high-priority workflow. Maintain orderly, up-to-date records and follow through consistently on admin tasks. Be dependable and structured in approach. Ensure data accuracy when updating systems or sending communications. Spot inconsistencies and raise them appropriately. Work positively and cooperatively with the Operations Manager, Clinical Liaison Specialist, and Senior Case Workers. Keep communication timely and transparent. Respond quickly to requests and adapt to fluctuating workloads or changes in enquiry urgency. Recognise the importance of timely, professional enquiry handling. Support internal and external stakeholders with care and accuracy.
Reporting Line
The Enquiries Administrator reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with the Clinical Liaison and Senior Case Workers. Expected to provide regular updates on admin workload, outstanding enquiries, and data entry status.
Essential Skills
Essential: English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
Desirable: Experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or equivalent Industry experience, legal or medical administrative background.
