What will you do?

  • Set Up: Prepare and install the facilities in coordination with the plant team and CWA services, offices, yard for security and safety, fencing, network connection for electrical, water.
  • Development: Be part of the setting out yard, develop the zoning storage to facilitate the inventory of the assets storage.
  • Recommendation: Organise and recommend the plant resources to optimise the operations on the yard.
  • Supervision And Team Management: Oversee and coordinate the activities of yard workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Daily Activity Briefings to be carried out and documented accordingly. Ensure SOPs, task sheets and RAMs are in place and kept up to date with changes. Maintain clear plant and people segregation throughout the yard area.
  • Safety And Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce safety programmes and protocols (e.g., OSHA standards), conduct regular safety inspections and audits, and investigate any incidents or accidents. Daily Activity Briefings to be carried out and documented accordingly. Ensure SOPs, task sheets and RAMs are in place and kept up to date with changes. Maintain clear plant and people segregation throughout the yard area.
  • Inventory Control And Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records of all materials, equipment, and supplies stored in the yard. This includes tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, preventing stock shortages, and minimising material contamination.
  • Logistics Coordination: Schedule and monitor inbound and outbound deliveries and shipments, coordinating with transport, logistics, and site teams to ensure materials are available when needed at construction sites.
  • Equipment Operation And Maintenance: Manage the operation of heavy machinery such as forklifts, loaders, and cranes, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained, operational, and that pre-use inspections are conducted and documented.
  • Yard Organization And Efficiency: Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient yard layout to optimise space utilisation and workflow, identifying and implementing process improvements where necessary.
  • Documentation And Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate reports, logs, and documentation related to yard activities, inventory levels, safety incidents, and equipment maintenance.
