Communicate are supporting listed REIT in their search for a Group Finance Manager. This role will report to the Head of Group Reporting and offers the successful candidate a uniquely broad scope and exposure to a range of senior stakeholders. This organisation provides a distinctive offering; PLC reporting experience at a senior level, plus genuine operational involvement in a successful and acquisitive REIT.
You will be responsible for managing a small team; leading and supporting their development.
What you will be doing:

Lead the internal and external reporting processes

Prepare the company’s monthly reporting and annual statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP

Manage a small team; supporting their development

Support the FP&A team in assisting with budgets and forecasts including variance analysis and 5-year plan

Liaising with the auditors and answering queries

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with sufficient PQE
-
Ideally from an Audit background

Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP; experience of a group consolidation

Ideally experience of the Real Estate industry or an interest in

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and systems (Microsoft Dynamics is a ‘nice to have’)
