We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Connectivity & Project Operations Coordinator to support the successful delivery of customer connectivity solutions and projects. This is not a traditional project coordination role. You will play a central role in managing the end to end flow of connectivity orders, coordinating resources, maintaining customer communications, and ensuring operational activities run smoothly across the team.

Working within a small and dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to shape processes, improve ways of working, and make a genuine impact on how the function operates. You will work closely with colleagues across technical delivery, procurement, field engineering and finance, acting as the operational hub that ensures projects and orders progress efficiently and nothing falls through the cracks.

As the organisation continues to grow and integrate acquired businesses, this role offers significant scope for development, autonomy, and progression within an evolving project office function.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Order Management and Processing
    • Receive, validate and process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Assess incoming orders and allocate work to the most appropriate resource based on skillset, availability and business priorities.
    • Place orders for broadband circuits, leased lines and other connectivity products.
    • Manage connectivity orders throughout the full lifecycle, proactively engaging with carriers and suppliers to obtain updates and resolve issues.
    • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with connectivity providers and external suppliers.
    • Coordinate invoicing milestones and ensure finance teams are engaged at the appropriate stages of delivery.
  • Project and Resource Coordination
    • Coordinate resources across multiple customer orders and small to medium sized projects.
    • Monitor project schedules, actions and milestones, ensuring delivery activities remain on track.
    • Maintain accurate and up to date records across internal systems and supplier portals.
    • Support team scheduling, meeting coordination and action tracking, ensuring all activities remain visible and effectively managed.
    • Identify and escalate risks, delays or blockers before they impact delivery.
  • Stakeholder and Customer Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers across allocated orders and projects.
    • Provide clear, timely and professional updates throughout the customer delivery lifecycle.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders across sales, technical delivery, procurement and finance to coordinate activities and ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues, representing the business professionally at all times.
  • Process Improvement
    • Support the development, documentation and continuous improvement of operational processes.
    • Identify inefficiencies within existing workflows and recommend practical improvements.
    • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of operational playbooks and standardised ways of working.
Skills and Requirements
  • Essential
    • Previous experience within a coordination, operations, project support or service delivery role, ideally within telecoms, connectivity or a technical environment.
    • Knowledge of connectivity products such as broadband, leased lines or circuit provisioning processes, or the ability to quickly learn technical delivery workflows.
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
    • Demonstrable ability to take ownership, work proactively and follow tasks through to completion.
    • Resilient and persistent approach, with the confidence to challenge, chase updates and resolve issues to protect delivery timescales.
    • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to remain calm and organised in a fast paced environment.
  • Desirable
    • Experience coordinating field engineers or third party delivery resources.
    • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how operational decisions can impact cost, margin and customer satisfaction.
    • Exposure to invoicing, billing or commercial processes within a delivery or operations environment.
    • Experience using CRM, project management or workflow systems, with previous exposure to Zoho advantageous.
    • Ambition to develop into broader project management or operational leadership roles.
What Success Looks Like
  • Within the first three months, you will have developed a strong understanding of our products, systems and operational processes, ensuring customers receive timely and accurate updates throughout their journey.
  • By six months, you will be independently coordinating orders and projects from initiation through to completion, whilst identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance team processes.
  • Within twelve months, you will be recognised as a trusted and autonomous member of the team, relied upon by colleagues, customers and suppliers to ensure delivery activities run smoothly and effectively.
