Senior Management Accountant (Temp to Perm)
Availability: Immediate
Location: London
Contract Type: Initial 6 months
We are working with a large, well-established international, listed consumer business to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a contract basis. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is highly proficient in management accounts and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, structured environment.
The Role
- Take ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Prepare and review P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide clear financial insight and commentary.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and periodic re‑forecast cycles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and controls.
- Gain exposure to treasury‑related activities, including cash forecasting and cash management support (training provided — no prior treasury experience required).
Key Requirements
- Strong experience producing management accounts end‑to‑end.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Confident communicator, able to explain financial performance to non‑finance stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working within established finance systems.
- Available to attend the office 2–3 days per week.
